Topic – Re-thinking Project Stakeholder Management in Construction
Problem Statement: Project stakeholder management (PSM) is a knowledge area that includes the processes and activities, which enable construction project managers (CPMs) to ensure the expected deliverables of projects from the perspective of all interested parties are met. A project stakeholder in this context is an individual (or organisations) or a group of persons or organisations who may affect or be affected by the decision, activity and outcome of a project. The nature of construction indicates that PSM has major influence on the success or failure of projects.
