Mr Sheerish Jhina (Pr CPM, MACPM)

Mr Sheerish Jhina (PrCPM and MACPM) is a Construction Project Manager with extensive experience on complex projects, across multiple specialized sectors including Hospitality and Casino’s, Retail, Commercial Office, Mixed-Use Developments, Residential Apartments, High-Rise Construction, Inner City Infrastructure, Tenant Coordination and Development Management Support. His experience spans over 32 years in the construction industry and through the ranks from Architectural & Civils Draughting, Quantity Surveyor with a major contractor, and self-employed as Contractor in the built environment, with a 25-year career as a Project Management Professional with a Project Management Consultancy, this has allowed him to specialize and to deliver large scale, high value and iconic projects with these acquired skills sets to date. He is a Project Director at SIP Project Managers and has worked on and delivered local, regional and international construction projects during this career. He is an Executive Member & Treasurer of the Association of Project Managers (ACPM)

President – Mr Anthony Afordofe (Pr CPM , MACPM)

Mr Anthony Afordofe (Pr CPM, MACPM) with qualifications in architecture and project management has 21 years’ experience in the industry. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Akweni Group Property Solutions Pty Ltd, performs Operational Directorship for Projects Division; Construction Division; Facilities Management Division and Turnkey Projects Division.  Qualified as an Architectural Technologist, with extensive experience in Architecture; Project & Programme Management and Construction related Activities. Expertise in the Health Sector; Aeronautic/Aviation; Housing; Commercial; Industrial; Educational; Sports & Recreation; Environment Upgrades; Water & Sanitation; Retail and Infrastructure Development sectors. We are also an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and a member of CIDB and NHBRC. The business runs across Southern & Western African regions and renowned for its professionalism and service delivery mantra of “passion, precision, vision”. Served on the SACPCMP Marketing Committee; SACPCMP Presidential Forum and BEPG EXCO. 

Deputy President – Mr Jedd Grimbeek  (PrCPM, MACPM)

Jedd Grimbeek  (PrCPM, MACPM) holds a BSc. Building Management Degree with 31yrs experience in the industry. He is currently the Managing Director of a dedicated project management company in Cape Town, Mitchell du Plessis Projects (Pty) Ltd (aka MDA Projects).  He is a highly experienced built environment professional who has accumulated more than 30 years’ experience spanning both local and international markets and covering both the consulting and construction contracting ends of the spectrum.  Jedd specializes as a registered professional project manager and development consultant and has led, delivered and participated in some of the most prominent and complex projects undertaken in Cape Town, South Africa, and internationally. These projects include the V&A Waterfront Marina Residential Development, the MyCiTi Integrated Rapid Transit System, Phase 1, the Phase 1 Cape Town International Convention Centre, the Aurum Presidential & Luxury Residences, the Harbour Bay Medical Facility, Century City Canal Walk Shopping Centre, the Shangri-La Hotel in Taipei, and HSBC Hong Kong Peak Residences.  Jedd is passionate about the development of the Cape Town built environment landscape, as evidenced by his leadership of the winning bid for the subsequently cancelled Cape Town Foreshore Freeway request for proposals issued by the City of Cape Town.  He has a keen interest in the upliftment of the project management profession, and as such is an active participant in built environment professional associations, including the Western Cape Property Development Forum (WCPDF), as well as the South African Association of Construction Project Managers (ACPM) where he holds the position of Deputy-President.

Mr Tim White (Pr CPM, MACPM, APM,UK)

Timothy Hansen White (Pr CPM, MACPM, APM,UK ) holds a degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management and Property Development programme. He is a founder and Group CEO of Profica, a professional services company providing construction and property solutions. Tim holds over 25 years hands-on, across sector experience of the management and delivery of large, high profile and complex projects in the Property, Construction and Civil Engineering industries.   Tim gained experience working for a top tier listed contractor in South Africa. Thereafter, he was exposed to international project management in Europe, before founding Profica in 2005. He is an executive member of the Association of Construction Project Managers. He has successful projects across many sectors, inclusive of retail, office, industrial, residential and mixed use.   Tim has grown the Profica business over the years with a strong footprint, local offices and presence throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.
