Pro-Serve Consulting (Pty) Ltd has 2 positions open at their Head Office in Irene, Pretoria. The first one is for a Departmental Head Project Management, and needs to be registered as a Professional Construction Project Manager with the SACPCMP. The second position is for a Candidate Construction Project Manager, registered with the SACPCMP.

Candidate Project Manager

Main Job Purpose:

The Candidate Project Manager under the guidance of the Project Manager spends the majority of their time onsite
and are responsible for the planning, management and execution of all construction projects with the objective of
enhancing profitability, productivity and efficiency; meeting schedules, safety standards and “local involvement” requirements as established by client; maximizing equipment utilization; and achieving client satisfaction objectives. They are also responsible for providing personal leadership that creates positive and productive
relationships; with all internal and external parties in order to maximize project performance and results

The Job requirements are as follows:

Qualifications - BSc (CM/QS) or equivalent. Registration with the SACPCMP as a Candidate Project Manager working towards Professional Registration. Willing and keen to undertake relevant training.

Experience - 3 to 6 years relevant experience in a consulting environment

  • Sound contractual knowledge (JBCC, NEC, GCC, FIDIC)

Qualifications - BSc (CM) / BSc (QS) or equivalent. Registration with the SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager

Experience - 8 year relevant experience in a consulting environment
